You are bored<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Boredom is a common trait when it comes to job dissatisfaction and it can be closely related to the need for challenge and variety.\u00a0 We all have days where we are lacking energy, interest and enthusiasm and we all find some elements or tasks of our role boring. But when we are feeling like this every day and 80% of your work is not engaging then it\u2019s a good indication to consider your options.<\/span><\/p>\n

Think about the things that engage you and try to align your next role with these things.\u00a0 \u00a0The perfect role might be within the organisation you are currently working for.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are no opportunities for growth<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you are no longer learning or you can\u2019t see an opportunity to advance your career, then it may be a good sign to leave.\u00a0 Having your growth slowed down can have a major impact on your self-esteem and well-being.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seek opportunities that will support and encourage your personal and career growth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Your self-esteem is being impacted<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A fulfilling career should boost your confidence and self-esteem and having confidence in yourself is necessary for your wellbeing, happiness and success.<\/span><\/p>\n

Something needs to change quickly if your self-esteem is being impacted by the people you work with to the point where you find yourself doubting every decision you make and the work you do.\u00a0 It will also have an impact on your productivity and performance, which will ultimately affect your energy levels and your opportunities for growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Become aware of your thoughts and keep a journal.\u00a0 Ask yourself \u201cwhy am I feeling this way?\u201d\u00a0 Over time review your thoughts to see if there is constant patterns for making you doubt yourself.\u00a0 It may be something small, which can be easily changed.<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019re stressed and negative all the time<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We all have moments when we are feeling stressed and anxious at work but if the feeling is 80% of the time and your taking work stress to bed every night then it may be a good sign to consider your options as this may impact on your health and personal life.<\/span><\/p>\n
